KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS MARCH 13, 2000 MGM GRAND LAS VEGAS, NEVADA KIT KOPE DEFEATS ALEX GONG SPLIT DECISION The action was fast a furious in every match but none more controversial than Alex's fight with Kit Kope. Despite a strong start that included knocking Kope down in the first round, Alex was not at 100% and lost the next three rounds. F-14 came roaring back in the fifth but was unable to win over the judges and came up on the short end of the split decision. THE REMATCH is already in place with a tentative date of September 2000.

Shawn runs ADVANCED COMBAT SYSTEMS in Indiana and was here earlier this year for the fly in camp with his fight team. Alex was very impressed with Shawn's dedication and techniques so he offered him a spot on the Fairtex team.
