Chef Gary Hamilton has got the right ingredients for world supremacy Gary Hamilton is gearing up for the fight of his life this weekend when he fights for the world kickboxing title in France. The Belfast protegy will face feather weight professional champion Pastor Pascal in Lyon this Saturday. Gary is in final preparations for the biggest fight of his career Hamilton has never fought at this weight before but his trainer and manager Billy Murray believes he is up to the task. "Opportunities like this don’t come your way every day and it would be the icing on the cake for Prokick’s year if Gary was to bring back the professional world title for Christmas," Murray said. The promoter is still on a high after seeing his other star performer, Gary Noade, crowned amateur world champion in a sell-out bout in Belfast last week. Hamilton said he was eager to prove himself on the world stage. "Its been a long hard trip to this point in my career but I know I’m world class," he said. "Pastor will find that out when I meet him. I’m ready physically, the only thing is my weight which won’t be to much of a problem. "Mr Murray has done a great job guiding me along to date there is no way he has left any stone unturned in my preparation I have never trained this hard for a fight the sparring has been great - I will not leave France a runner-up."
