ProKick fighters are once more to compete in Glasgow's Katana event

Glasgow, Scotland this Saturday August 27th will play host to yet more ProKick fighters competing at Duncan- Airlie-James's next instalment of his Katana Series, 'Bushido'. The ProKick fighters have been personally invited back to Glasgow to do battle with their Celtic cousins at The 5 star Mariott Hotel. This will be the fourth instalment of Airlie-James's 'Katana' Style events and is promising to be just as spectacular, if not more so than the first 3.

Event Details

Negotiations are concluded and ProKick.com can now confirm that ProKick fighters are on the fight-card. Karl McBlain has just been added to the card to face World Champion Ryan Lyall, his toughest test to date. Heavyweight sensation Paul Best will face Scottish Katana fighter James Perry at 105kg, Gary Fullerton will face Marc Dixon from Kokoro Gym in Scotland and Darren McMullan faces Alan McDonald from Duncan Airlie-James's Gym in Glasgow.

Fights on the card will be dubbed as being under semi-pro rules (meaning no headguards, but with foot protection being optional).

The Marriott Hotel, Glasgow will be the venue for the K1 and kickboxing fight night promoted by former World Champion Duncan Airlie-James and will feature fighters from all over the globe.
