Some of the ProKick Kids who will travel to the event in Switzerland - aged 6 years to 12 year old.
THIRTY FIVE representatives from the ProKick Gym in east Belfast are now in Geneva, Switzerland. The team are here from 22nd to the 25th March for an International club team event under the name of the Peace Fighters. Members from all over Northern Ireland as young as 6 years old will take part in a kickboxing weekend of sport and FUN.
Event Details
The show is set for 22nd to the 24th March. The event will also include amateur adult fighters along with the kids demo match-ups. It's the latest event in Murray (NI) and Emery (CH) joint initiative venture which was just planned at the start of the year.
The Peace Fighters was founded by the two life-long friends to help children from all backgrounds.
The ProKick team are in the final stages organising this event. Most of the funds needed have now been raised however we still have a little way to go for taking the thirty five people for a trip of a Life-time to one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
Our first group fund raising day was - Sunday 03/March/2013. We raised £1058 A Big thanks to all kids and adults in the gym for helping out with a day of 1000's kicks held Sunday 03/March/2013 from 2-3pm.
Sparring kids Class saving fees £159
Our next day was 16th March it was a ballot draw which we raised £786
Total: £2003
This does not inculed the individual sponsorship the team has raised through friends and family and others means. Which has amounted to 1000's

We will leave Villars Sunday morning 10.45am and head to Geneva - for weigh-ins for the adults it will be when you all arrive. Fights starts at 1pm
