Im still on a high, and still got the shakes…lol
but what a day, and what a result for me,the big TKO…
I really feel on top of the world…
The whole of prokick and every other kickboxing club had a great time with some amazing eye watering fights…
Barrie Oliver and Mickey Shields fight was brilliant, talk about non stop action, how they both kept going after such hard punches and kicks was proof of their great fitness and sporting abilities.
Paul McClintock really got stuck into his fight and although he lost , boy what a battle he took to his opponent…
Colin simms brought the house down with half of carrickfergus and the surrounding areas in attendance..Colin came out like he was in a hurry, non stop punches and kicks and he really shocked his opponent..his fight went the whole way and Colin came out on top with the win…
Chris hopkins as usual didnt disappoint, he used his super knack of great kicks to set up some super combinations, his opponent was a good match and the result was a draw.
I could go on and on, but i wont, im knackered..
All i can say is, when i was up in the room warming up and David Bird came in after his fight with blood all over him, i nearly fainted, i said to myself,
“what are you doing here mark”
the guys all had their own ways of dealing with the pre fight jitters, some went quiet and contemplated, whereas others like me just nattered non stop..
A Super kickboxing event today and everyone including the spwectators left feeling they had a super day…
Cant wait to see the video of my fight as to be honest its still all a bit of a blur to me…was i even there today or was it all a dream…lol
i was chatting to my opponent later on in the day and what a great guy and sportman Mark Lord is…
us ole fogies nattering about our fight..lol
Well done Everyone….Proud of ya all….
M.
