Prokick Grading day Sunday July 5th 2015
SUNDAY 5TH July 2015 and there was no rest for some of Northern Ireland’s top kickboxing talent. It was Sunday afternoon and it was all action at the ProKick kickboxing school of excellence for members looking to move up to the next level. Adult Grading day took place on Sunday 5th July at 4pm. Adult beginners right up to senior level Green Belts all converged on ProKick HQ on this beautiful afternoon and most (thankfully) achieved their next levels.
A grading is when Kickboxing students, non-contact and contact, are assessed through a series of levels / grades, with the base level being White Belt, through ten levels, finally reaching a Dan grade at black belt, which is equivalent, if you like, to a degree level in KickBoxing. This type of achievement would take, on average, between six and eight years with a training regime of on average of three to four times a week.
