10th ASFAA Congress, Korea

Switzerland's Former full-contact world champion will be present at the 10th ASFAA Congress will be held in Busan Haeundae Grand Hotel from September 23 to October 3 under the theme of 'Health, Education and Culture through Physical Activity and Games'. Carl Emery will then take time out and head to Seoul for the K1 as his friend Jerome La Bannner competes.

This is the third time that the ASFAA General Assembly and its associated International Academic Sessions will be held in Korea following Seoul in 1991 and Busan in 2000. Important issues related to ASFAA such as elections, regulations, support for developing countries and selecting the next host city will be discussed during the General Assembly. In the International Academic Sessions, domestic and international sports academics will present papers.
