The cocky, but Talented White faces Patrick Kinigimazi, his toughest test on December 1st at the Waterfront Hall when he challenges for the WKN European lightweight crown. Kinigimazi, originally from war-torn Rwanda is a naturalised Swiss fighter. He’s the reigning European champion, while Scot White, from Aberdeen, is the British champ.
There is some previous between Kinigimazi and Hamilton. The Belfast Boy has a points victory over the hardhitting African in a non-title bout in Kilkenny in 2004. Since then Kinigimazi has moved between kickboxing and professional boxing. He has a spotless boxing record of 10 fights and 10 victories.
White also retains a tough-guy reputation amongst fight fans.
