The September fight-card, which is headlined by Irish up-n-coming stars - Carl Frampton who is headlining the Ulster Hall bill - others on the card are Stephen Haughian, Troy James, Chris Keane, Jamie Conlan and Ryan Greene. This is the first in a six event deal with leading broadcaster Setanta Sports.
Barry McGuigan had this to say about September 18th bill:
“I have a lot of very special memories fighting in the Ulster Hall - particularly winning the British title against Vernon Penprase in 1983, defending it and the European title against Clyde Ruan in 1984. There is always a special atmosphere for boxing and since they have done it up it looks stunning as well.
“We will be promoting six shows over the next year and all will be broadcast by Setanta Sports, providing a wonderful platform for the best young boxers to showcase their talents to a large audience.
