The match is for the British light-welterweight title on March 13. There was some speculation this title match would be at the Kings Hall in Belfast that was soon dampened when the ‘Paymasters’ TV want the bout to take place in the Kingsway Leisure Centre in Widnes.

Well when your up against a fight record of 100% it can be quite daunting taking on such a task in the mental stakes..
However Barry is no lightweight himself in regards to wins, ok 3 losses, it happens but he has had 7 KO’s himself so certainly in there with a good chance..
It would have been nice if it was held at the Kings hall, but ah well we cant always have it our own way…though it is nice to have home support the majority..
Good luck to both fighters and no doubt, i reckon it could go all the way, and although im not one for predictions…
Paul could see his 19th win…possibly..
(see how i did that, 50/50 prediction..lol)
