You won't have to wait until Hallowe'en as former world champion Andrew Grimason may make a return to the ring on St Patrick's day, March 17, at the Holiday Inn hotel, Belfast.

The 26 year old has not competed since 2006 but evidence in the last couple of week of sparring prove he is a fish out of water.

He will campaign at the heavier weight of 80+ kilo instead of his normal 72kilo, (he had a good xmas).

Andrew took the kickboxing world by storm since joining ProKick at the age of 8.

After a few years he left to follow another passion, football.

He returned to kickboxing when he was in his late teens and took to the ring with a string of non stop wins.

He lifted a string of titles along the way and remaining undefeated the east Belfast man took the world title in a clash away from home.

He drifted off from kickboxing to focus on his work, and the as the clock ticked by he always wanted to climb back into the ring.

And now he has the opportunity to do just that, we know he has the ability.

Come March 17 on Saint Patrick's Day we'll see if he can still strike fear into the heart of his opponent.
