Dunne boxed well in the opening two rounds as he kept the difficult Thai opponent at long range. However, his good start was quickly undone by three left-hands which saw the 29-year-old hit the canvas three times, and the match referee had no option but to end the fight on the three knockdown rule – and the official time that Bernard Dunne lost his WBA crown was 2 minutes and 57 seconds in the third round.

Lets hope Dunne can come back from this and his team takes note to stay well clear of Thailand's Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym who is no longer the WBA’s interim champion but now fills his rightful place as the real deal.
