Day 5 - 23 Campers started on Monday it swelled to 32 though-out the week but only 18 saw the finish line. More on this later ...Fines are in effect - HooRah!
Lots more to come.....
Day 4 - It was a beautiful day today but most of you guys reading this as the ProKick elite was out pounding the streets at 6am. And how smart at your guys, toasting your toes in your nice comfortable bed! Let's start with the negatives...Missing list! Adrian Murphy (not Mr Black Belt) but Northern Ireland's top gardening design specialist, thanks to Mark for getting me up this morning and at this rate I really don't need to set an alarm as the mutlitude of texts I get wake me up at 5am anyway. Mark is on the injured list from last night, just remember to bring your groin guard next time Mark! David Bird is struggling this week (one of our top sprinters) but getting down here is a struggle for the 16 year old. where have all our LadyKillers gone? Have they themselves been killed? Good on Stephanie, Nuala and Amy-Lee, today they have been promoted to "Billy's Angels" Ashley Crooks, Robert Ferris, Alex also missing.
Two groups today. Started off with shadow boxing. Group 1hit the roads for a four-miler whilst the injured and battle-worn Motley Crue stayed at the gym for circuits and did a slower pace of just 1 mile to finish. Finally, the whole team sprinted the last leg back into the gym. Well done, especially on top of last night's sprints. Keep the good work up guys! Final day tmorrow and a well deserved rest for the weekend..
A reminder to all, the gym is closed Easter Monday and Tuesday.
Day 3 - Six people missing from yesterday. Jonathon Orr, Patrice O'Hagan, Adrian Murphy, Gareth Leeman, Alex Coicio, Lubo Klizan, Amy-Lee Tonner (Drama Queen), Stephanie McMullen, Andrew Duffin. Some of these people MAY have been here but failed to sign in so have dropped a mark and don't forget, points make prizes!
Please note Mr Fullerton has been appointed "Debt Collector"...All members who miss a day will be charged ten pounds as a penalty. Total monies gathered from now until the end of the course will be put towards a holiday for Kris - an after bash party for after the show finishes.
Sarted the morning off outside doing laps with one sprint and one 'piggy back' in 300 yard intervals. Finished off last 20 mins with body boxing practice. Well done, fatigue doesn't seem to have crept in yet but there is 2 days to go. More 'piggy backs' tomorrow, Yee-Ha!
Day 2 - Tue 19/4 - Missing today were William Lynch, Lubo Klizan, Paul Best, Mark Bird, Ashley Crooks, Robert Ferris. In fairness, some of the names listed were here but did not sign in. That's a fine anyways, points means prizes.
Surprised at Mr Bird though as he has a few important fights coming up. Please note, if fighters are not going to attend boot camps, I am not going to organise fights, it's not just your reputation on the line. If you can't make it, I need to know beforehand.
On a more upbeat note, 8 new guys joined the boot camp and welcome back former fighter Mr Chris Cullen (sorry, Doctor Chris Cullen) Amy-Lee was here on time, mouthy as ever and no need for a taxi. We take it you parked your car outside the security barriers today Amy?? (Excuse for lateness yesterday!)
Change of drill today - Laid off the stomach today (Kris you slacker!!) Fast hand work and leg work for a constant 45 mins finishing off with just one lap of the gym. The shocker of the day was a text from "General with a K" Mr Hanna. You know what,.... ask Kris what the text said and why he wasn't training. Get ready for day 3.
By the way, check out the dietary plan on the website. Let's see who sticks the course and then we'll tailor it to suit you.
Day 1 - Mon 18/4 were on the missing list and if you havent said that you couldn't make it or give an excuse then it is a £10 fine please. Surprisingly there was no one late today, but old hand camper Darren McMullan cut it fine again with one minute to spare.
Order of the day was floor excercises and lots more of the same.
Finished off with a few laps of the gym.
If you think to day was easy, don't worry campers, it will get tougher.
