Okay our Boot Camp is finished but here is something not so extreem and it's open to all our members and for FREE - Sunday Fun 'Boot Camp' a fun/walk/Jog morning at Stormont Park - we are meeting at 10.20am to starts at 10.30 sharp Sunday the 3rd June - it's a walk/Jog/fun morning, all members welcome - this will not be a hard session.

We will meet at the back entrance to Stormont from the Belmont Road end

 

Thursday - 30th May - It was a wet and rainy day on Thursday morning so the Boot stayed indoors for today's session. Shadow boxing, Circuit training, and fast pads was the order of the day.> Well done guys, three on the missing list- Also where was Mr Best?? Think you can do it?

Billy's Boot Camp Tuesday 29/05/12Tuesday 29th May - It was an out door Boot Camp today as Billy's Boot Camp took to the road - just a mile jog to a local park, 3 x 200 meter sprints, boxing drills for a few rounds each another mile back and for some of the group, they attacked a steep road home. What a beautiful way to start the day off!




The Last Boot CAmp for MayBACK Saturday at 6am -   Boot Camp started back Saturday Morning for the last day of our three day special and it all started at 6am the 26th May. Circuit training was the call today for Boot Campers and that's what is was from start to finish> Well done guys.



The last New Breeds Boot Camp will be Tuesday May 29th at 6am for the last of the present serie.....More later.

There were no Thursday morning blues, if there would be one that is!  - Boot Campers were all on song like little humming birds as sprints, fast gym work and boxing work pushed the ever thinning squad to their limits 



Boot Camp started Tuesday MAY 22nd at 6am. 

Yes Boot Camp was back today and will be out again on Thursday 24th and Saturday 26th.  It was fast floor work with sprints inside and out on this fine bright and clear morning, (not that most of you reading this would have seen) A subdued boot Camp with just 14 - a big difference from the 30-odds when we started the New Breed part II. Let's see what the rest of the week brings.

Boot Camp at proKick gym in Belfast ProKickers were out in force Friday 18th May and at the normal time of 6am for the last day of this week's Boot Camp.  Just two on the missing list and 4 late campers. Today was a pads session, the boot camper worked on boxing and knee drills.

WEDNESDAY, May 16th - 22 made their way to the ProKick gym on this bright and beautiful morning. The camp started with shadow boxing then the class was spilt into two part whilst group one were on sprirts group 2 stayed in the gym for tough extreme fitness work. 20mins later the rolls were reversed. Good start to the day guys..ops where was Mr F this morning?  ProKickers will hit the Boot Camp for much of the same on Friday the 18th May.

Monday the 14th May - light sparring was the focus of today's Boot Camp, nothing heavy. Well done for those who turned up - There were Four ProKick fighters who will compete on June 10th who were on the missing list - Welcome back to Boot Camp Davey Foster.

Boot Camp was back  Friday for the New Breeds fighters Boot Camp - Just 18 Campers out of 26 got up early and made it to Boot Camp. its was top secret what the camp got up to..If you want to know then sign up for the Next one - it's a FULL week from the 14th, 16th & 18th May.   

DAY 3 in WEEK No.5 started at 6am Friday the 4th May, Details of what was done will follow.....

Sprints were the order of the dayBoot Camp was back for day two of the New Breeds fighters Camp - today started off fast with hard shadow boxing, hard-core tough no-nonsense fitness work and then 5 sprint laps, yes folks 5 - with the fastest time going to fighter and New European Champ Karl McBlain. There were 20 Campers who climbed out of bed well before 6am a beautiful Wednesday morning and made it to Boot Camp, lets see how many there are on Friday.

 

 

Day 1 Week 5 - ProKick Boot Campers WEEK 5 - Started Monday 30th April  - Started off with the warm-up through shadow boxing, boxing drills, sprints on the floor, and for those who had gum shields with them some light sparring and for those who didn't there was a few rounds body boxing - finished the session of with fast floor work.....all-in-all a good first day back after a week off. There were 18 Campers who climbed out of bed well before 6am to make it to Boot Camp. See you all back at Boot Camp on Wednesday the 2nd.

WEEK 4 Last Day - 20th April:
Last Day of week No. 4 Boot Camp was kicked into touch this morning when ONLY 12 turned up for the final day - It was a case of ProKick's 'Dirty Dozen' were really the 'Golden Dozen' as the last twelve finished of the week with the whole session on boxing with just one round on kicks.  From 28 to just to 12 boot campers - on that note there will be no Boot Camp next week. Four weeks on the go is tough - well done for those who missed no time from any of the Camps.

Details will be posted when the next Boot Camp will start - Week 5 New Breeds Boot Camp will kick off again on 30th April.   

WEEK 4 DAY 2 Wednesday 18th April: It was a Good morning Campers on Wednesday - and it was a 6am start as normal, nothing really changed there apart from it Billy's Boot Camp Day 2 Week No. 4was a happier looking group of Boot Campers today, 22 in total turned out for training this morning that's 4 up on Monday - Training today consisted of, Warm-ups, one Sprint, good times today (by-the-way). Knee and kicking work was the order of the day.

WEEK 4 DAY 1 Monday 16th April: Monday Morning it was 6am and a subdued group of Boot Campers turned up, perhaps still tired from their weekends activities - just 18 turned up for training this morning 10 short from last week - to be fair 6 Camper called in well ahead to say they couldn't make it Monday or even Wednesday but will be there on Friday. Just 10 of the New Breeds Boot Camps turned up, that's a total of 12 short. It was a slow start with some light warm-ups, shadow boxing and floor work. The main put of the session was taken up with containt hand drills on the pads. Well done all great start to the week, keep it up! Two late this morning Johnny And Stev yet again come on guys get your act together, Karl McBlain was first in ready to go 30 before kick off.

Our Boot Camp returned TODAYApril 16th for another three day special and if you were on the last last three weeks Boot Camp and didn't miss a day or late once then it is FREE - if you are joining us for the 3 days for the first time £10 - if you have been on a previous Boot Camp and been late or missed a day for whatever reason it's £10 - even late once sick or work related doesn't count it's still £10

Final Day of Week 3 and a great tune-out 27 campers nine late, well not really just 1 boot camper as we started a good 5 mins early. SHOCKER, Darren McMullan was first to sign in - this is a first! - ToDay was the Final day of Week No. 3 of the New Breeds Boot Camp - well done for a great weeks work, today we finished off with kicks, kicks and loads more KICKS. 

Week 3 - Day 2 of the New Breeds Boot Camp, and it was Friday 13th - 27 turned up, but only 12 from the 27 inductees that signed up to FIGHT attended. The camp kicked off with light stretching, press-ups with a few variations of the same straight into fast boxing with the core of the session taken up on low-kick and knee work finishing off with the last two rounds on hard exercises. No one late today - £5 fine please. Miss your syllabus class and it is a ten pound fine, and it doesn't matter if you say you were sick - you need to phone ahead. It is a Boot Camp and penalties are in effect.

Boot Camp Week 3 Day 1 Week 3 - Day 1 kicked off with 23 fitness keen Campers but the worrying point only eight were New Breed wannabe fighters, Where are you guys, given up already?
Day 1. Started of light and then the squad hit it hard with non-stop boxing on the pads. Well done to Karl McBlain at Boot Camp with a broken hand.. Two late comers today the New odd couple Steve & Johnny.

FINAL DAY - WEEK 2 -  Friday 6th April was our last Boot Camp of week No 2 for the New Breed induction into the fighters league. Today was all about boxing and pad work - warm-ups, shadow boxing with the rest of the session spent on pads, just pain old fashion no-nonsense hard boxing drills and loads of jabbing practise.

WEEK TWO DAY 2 - Thursday 5th April; - 22 Boot Campers from 28 turned up today and the shocker was four of our current fighters who are on the next fight card were a NO-SHOW!... ProKick's Boot Camp was spiced up again today by the presence of Rafa De Toro, a professional kickboxer from Spain, Welcome Rafa.  Today's Camp started off with a light rounds of shadow boxing, strectching, floor work exercises - Mixing it up with sprints, touches and much of the same - the class was spilt off in two groups - Fighters and senoir Boot Campers and the other group whom have just joined us. First group outside for two fast laps whilst group No.2 stayed indoors for sprints and pad work. First group back to hard body boxing and hand drills while Group No.2 out running. Second group back, full class finished off with two rounds hard excerse. It was a good day with all working hard NON-STOP for the entire 55 mins. Oh yeah one Boot Camper late today, Ms L McMullan, she said: I had to make a important call this morning". Stop right there at 5.30am! Who would you be calling at that time another Boot Camper?.., not likely. Our boot Campers don't need wake-up calls, we are organised! FIVER fine!

DAY 1 - Toro Toro Toro was the screams heard at the ProKick gym this Morning!  ProKick's Boot Camp was spiced up this morning with some international favour by way of a visit from Rafa De Toro, a professional kickboxer from Spain, Rafa De Toro. Started off this morning with a few rounds of light shadow boxing partnered up for some floor exercises. Mixing it up sprints, touches and more of the same some core work - working or boxing work along with knee and punch drills. It was NON-STOP for the entire 45 mins. Think you can do it? Day 3 - The Campers who lasted the courselast day of Week ones New Breed Booties - hard floor work, sprints, fast hand work on the pads and 6 missing from the start of the week.

 

There is no quick fix to get fit - but these Camps get results FAST!

 

Day 2 - It was 6am and that means Billy's Boot Camp was back - started Wednesday 28th at 6am sharp - It kicked off to a better start as 34 braved Campers braved the early morning fitness regime, that's 12 more than on Monday.
