The Belfast born undefeated boxer, managed and mentored by Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan, has had a glittering career to date and is looking to keep 2012 just as busy as last year. His last test was against seasoned campaigner Kris Hughes from Scotland where once again the Belfast man triumphed via stoppage.
Frampton will defend his belt on the under card of Kell Brook Vs Matthew Hatton, an event that could get him that extra level of publicity that he needs now that he plans to make a move onto the European and World stages. But he will have to make another successful defence against Ankarah before he can think of this.
