Cathy McAleer (Belfast, NI) will face England's Michelle Page in a Thai-Style match under WKN rules on June 5th in Belfast

Cathy McAleer to face Michelle Page in K1 match-up

Belfast’s WKN world champion Cathy McAleer will go through the ropes two weeks TODAY on June 5th at the Clayton hotel Belfast - and all in search for another world title. The 36 year-old fitness fanatic is the current WKN world Full-Contact kickboxing champion who took the title off American Ariana Siegel at Billy Murray’s annual KICKmas event in 2015 with a first round KO. McAleer hopes to re-challenge for the K1-style world championship on KICKmas 2016 at the Ulster hall. But first McAleer must win against K1 specialist and cage-fighter Michelle Page of Lincoln, England.

Belfast’s Karate queen hopes that Michelle will not be on the same Page when they meet on June 5th for their Thai-style match under WKN Rules over 4 x 2 minute rounds.

McAleer will act as the semi main event to Bangor’s #JohnnySwiftSmith in his third Professional outing as a fighter. World champion Samantha Robb will also be part of the main event billing. Ten other new and experienced ProKick fighters will also be out in force at the city centre hotel on Sunday the 5th June 2016.

The event is co-sponsored by Peninsula Print & design who have backed and supported the sport of ProKick Kickboxing for over 20 years.
