Contender Asia Champion

Tuesday 9th September saw the winner crowned of The Contender Asia series – the popular Muay-Thai sports reality show, is the brainchild of Mark Burnett. The event was fought in front of 8000 people and staged in Singapore.

The fight featured Australian John Wayne Parr and Thailand’s Yodsaenklai Fairtex.

“The Contender”, title went to a worthy winner Thailand’s Yodsaenklai Fairtex - but he didn’t get it all his on way. Non-stop action and two knock downs over the 5 by 3 minute rounds saw Thailand top 72kg fighter Yodsaenklai Fairtex lift the title.
