The four-time winner of the K-1 World Grand Prix, Ernesto Hoost, returned to the ring on March 23 in Nagoya, Japan. Hoost fought his last fight in Tokyo 2006 that's when he faced Semmy Schilt and lost that match by decision in the semifinals of the K-1 World Grand Prix.
Mr Perfect return with American Thomas Stanley (23rd of March) in Nagoya, Japan. The fight was staged on his own show 'The Hoost Cup' a tournament which is co-promoted by Ernesto Hoost's long-time student and friend Mr. Tatsuharu Doi.
What happens next for the veteran K1 fight legend? There are all sorts of rumours flying around. I'm sure Mr Perfect knows exactly what he is doing.
So the old saying is, watch this space for more as it happens.

Hi
Couple of programmes on this coming weekend on BT Sports 2, this Saturday 1.00am UFC Fight Night from Abu Dhabi, main event Rodrigo Nogueria v Roy Nelson, these 2 heavyweights are locking horns and it could end explosively, Nogueria aka Minotauro is a Brazilian Ju Jitsu Specialist while Nelson likes to entertain the audience by knocking his opponents out , if it goes the distance Minotauro will win as Nelson doesn’t make that many strikes so is usually outpointed when his opponents are still standing at the end, thankfully that isn’t so often. Nelson amuses the audience by rubbing his beer belly after he has knocked his opponents out, so, bit of a character who is not built like an athlete, more the bearded fat guy next door. He seems like a fun guy to spend the evening with, so try not to miss it.
Also this weekend Sunday night 10.30pm after our own fight card, BT Sports 2 : World Glory Kickboxing Light Heavyweight Tournament coming from Istanbul, have never seen World Glory contests before so I have no idea what the standard is like.
Not forgetting our very own show on Sunday afternoon, Holiday Inn, had the pleasure to do some pad work with Team Pro Kick last night at the Gym, everyone was terrific , they are training like professionals to be in the best possible shape for Sundays show, when I got home my shoulders ached from the power of their punches, there was no holding back, Respect to you all, good luck to all of you on Sunday. Regards.
