Belfast`s very own Gary Hamilton will top the KICKmas special as he challenges for another world title. There will be three other WKN world titles, three European an International title and a British title all on the line.
Hamilton now 33 has landed himself another crack at reigning as a world kickboxing champion as his career enters a last-chance saloon.
He has held the WKN’s featherweight title for several years, and challenged the great Mohammad Samir in an epic encounter at the Ulster Hall in 2005, will return to the city’s historic fight venue in December 14th.
Hamilton, whose career has suffered a start-stop path in recent years, has been handed a chance to return to the top of the sport when he faces WKN K1-styleworld champion Daniel Zahra
The promoter and former world champion Billy Murray who has staged kickboxing at the Ulster Hall for over 25 years said: “Christmas has come early for the sport of kickboxing in Ireland. KICKmas has returned, and with it a world title shots for Gary Hamilton, Karl McBlain, Darren McMullan and Ursula Agnew. What more could any fight fan wish for this festive season? How about another four title fights - three of them European and a British title? Ulster Hall fight fans will also see a special fight attraction by MMA and kickboxing star Yoaan Kongolo with Dublin's tough guy Aidan Brooks.
“We will have a fight card that will have fans anticipating another great night of action at the Ulster Hall. I remember all my fights at the Ulster Hall especially first professional title win in 1988 as if it was yesterday; I can still hear that crowd screaming, and I know 2013 will be just the same.”

Hi
It was nice to see Daniel Zahra and his coach Noel Merceica drop into the Pro Kick Gym last night, they received a cordial welcome and as Gary and Pro Kicks other fighters were also present in the gym training it was good to see a bit of banter develop and the respect that fighters show to each other was apparent to all in attendance.
A number of photographs were taken of the visit and I look forward to seeing them. Fight night is starting to get close, you can sense from the fighters in the gym what it means to them, they are all training hard , lots of sweat , a few niggley injuries creeping in but everyone going flat out, this fight night in the Ulster Hall means a lot to them.
So , lets support and encourage them and Mr Murray from now to fight night, they are fighting for our gym for International, British, European and World Titles, some are coming back from long lay offs with injuries etc yet they go to work every day then the gym most evenings to train, sometimes straight from work, that is not easy, it requires a lot of dedication and strength of purpose, they may be called Amateurs but they are Professionals in all but name . Regards.
