Prokick Bash 'n Mash Awards night has excited the sporting community
Prokick Bash ‘n’ Mash to take centre stage
Forget the Oscars - The only award ceremony that has Northern Ireland's sporting community excited is happening tomorrow night in Belfast. The annual ProKick Kickboxing Awards takes place in the Hilton Hotel. It will honour the very best kickboxing talent in Ireland. And in a major coup for organisers, one of the sport's legendary figures Ernesto Hoost, will be flying in to accept a lifetime acheivement award.
"It's going to be a wonderful night," said ProKick founder Billy Murray. "It's a glitzy evening to reward the incredible hard work and huge talent of everyone involved in the sport in Ireland.
"We're the European powerhouse for the sport and this recognises that."
To add some spice to proceedings, following the ceremony there will be four high octane kickboxing bouts, featuring evergreen local world champion Gary Hamilton and football star turned kickboxing hero Ian Young.
Doors open to the public at 7.15pm
