"It's going to be a wonderful night," said ProKick founder Billy Murray. "It's a glitzy evening to reward the incredible hard work and huge talent of everyone involved in the sport in Ireland.

"We're the European powerhouse for the sport and this recognises that."

To add some spice to proceedings, following the ceremony there will be four high octane kickboxing bouts, featuring evergreen local world champion Gary Hamilton and football star turned kickboxing hero Ian Young.
