Both fighters previously commented that they are keen to fight one another. The young undefeated Belfast Champion wants to silence rumours that 'Mini Tyson' Martinez will just bee too much for him to handle.

There are rumours beginning to circle the internet regarding another possible match up at Christmas time between undefeated Belfast boxer and Commonwealth Champion Carl Frampton and EBU European Champion Kiko Martinez. The two were meant to meet previously in Belfast on the under card of Paul McCloskey Vs Breidis Prescott but the Spaniard was forced to withdraw from the fight as his father was in poor health.
