The event official proceedings will commence at 2.30pm for the weigh-ins and official rules meeting. All fighters, coaches and corner persons are to be at The Hilton Hotel for around 2pm so we can keep the weigh-ins running as smoothly as possible. There will be food laid on for the fighters and coaches only after the rules meeting then all of the fighters will be shown to their changing rooms where you will have plenty of time to rest up before the show begins.
A note for coaches/trainers, as requested, please ensure that your fighter has all the required protective equipment that was stated in the event rules sheet that was e-mailed to you last week and that you are fully aware of your fighter's place in the running order so that we can keep the show running as smoothly as possible. If not sure, check the running order in the programme which will be given to you at the rules meeting. The fight card will possibly be put online this evening. We will have runners at the event who will announce the fights and make sure everyone is ready to go.
Doors to the Hilton room open to the public at 4.30pm and the first fight commences at 5.30pm sharp. For all of those who have not purchased VIP or outer ringside seats, the seating plan will be on a "first come - first served" basis. The room we have in The Hilton is a fantastic space and there really isn't a bad seat in the house but if you want seats a little closer to the action, please allow adequate time upon arrival.
Please make sure that anyone from visiting teams are aware that the consumption of alcohol and use of profanity will not be tolerated in the function room and the promoter has the right to refuse entry at any time. There is also to be no video recording or flash photography in the room at any time and anyone breaching any of these rules will be asked to leave immediately unless pre-arranged with the promoter. Photographs and DVD's of the event will be available and will be turned around wiithin 48 hours, again see your programme for details. Please keep in mind we have young children that come to watch the events so we would politely ask that everyone behaves accordingly. Also as previously mentioned, there must be no persons spectating the event wearing football/soccer tops of any description and no flags will be allowed in the venue.
Please also be aware that tickets will not be available for sale at the venue on the night. There are very limited tickets left that can be purchased from the gym before close of business today or tomorrow morning at the gym and you must have your tickets at the door or you will be refused entry to the event.
There will also be food laid on for the fighters, coaches and anyone holding a VIP ticket after the show finishes.
Having said that we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has bought a ticket to the event and we are sure everyone will have a fantastic experience.
See you all at the show!
