Both ProKick fighters had a total of three weeks for the fight in Sardinia.

Gary Hamilton's fight with Alessandro Alias was set for 65kg with the Italian coming in right on the dot…65kg. Belfast's Gary Hamilton hit the scales at 64.1kg and done it very comfortable as well. Gary Hamilton could make 62.5kg with a bit longer preparation.

Karl McBlain on the other hand had an up-hill struggle. When he was first told about the fight, Karl was just back from holiday and was sitting at 74kg and looked impossible to get into shape and hit the championship weight of 64.4kg

But the Gas man focused and true to his plan made the weight and even had breakfast on the day of the weigh-in on the way.

McBlain came in at 64.2kg and Lorenzo Piras just under at 63.8kg just a lb under the required weigh limit.

Both Belfast men have now settling down after a slow replenishment of FOOD and liquids which was all good complexed carbohydrate and re-hydration fluids

The show starts at 7.30 and the Belfast duo are expected to hit the ring around 10.30 local time.

Wish them well as their opponents are the top from Italy.
