Hamilton's coach Billy Murray, will be ringside in Malta to witness the out-come and will seal the deal to have the fight back in Belfast at the end of this year, just in time for KICKmas.
"Gary needs to get back were he belongs and that's having a world champion belt around his waist."
Said Murray. "Gary still has a lot to offer the world of kickboxing and is now aims to work his way towards the winner of Zahra Vs Torres which is set for next week on 21st June in Malta.
"I'm confident I can have the event here in Belfast, in front of our home fans." Added Murray.
"There is a lot of interest internationally for Gary. Now that we have a goal, we will take our time to plot a course over the next 6 months to help him reclaim his world title. Part of that will be a few warm-up bouts making sure he's ready for KICKmas time in Belfast."
Meantime, Kickboxing continues to grow here as ProKick's latest band of fighters go between the ropes for championship action, set for Sunday the 30th June 2013 at the Holiday Inn Belfast.
