Gay Hamilton was to crosses disciplines on Saturday night and move from normal kickboxing to the dangerous Muay Thai division.
The 28 year-old Belfast World champion was to face Italian favorite Filipo Cinti – details about the event are sketchy even though flight were booked and pay for by the promoter.
Hamilton and coach never left Belfast and for the ever Green Belfast world champion it was business as usual and back to the gym training for his big match on Dec 1st against England’s Marty Cox Jnr at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast.
