Alex Ciocoi hit the weight also on the maximum cut-off 79.4kg. His opponent Sasha Alexander was not present for the official weigh-in as he will make weight, on Saturday afternoon.

The word is that he is light and is not worried about hitting the weight - the fact is he missed his weigh-ins and not matter what, he will be seen on the scales today at high-noon.

More today on what the team are doing to relax before the BIG fights tonight.

Here's how we got to Germany:

What a day, it all stated at 5.30am - we meet at the ProKick gym, Darren was late so off to a good start. It was a couple of hours drive to Dublin, well on time for the first of our flights to Germany - Via  Stockholm ( don't ask please, don't want to get into to that one again). We arrived late just had 40 mins to change flights to Hamberg. Luckily enough we made it after a sprint to the gate, (Darren kept us late again) Met at Hamberg by Klaus Hagemann the WKN main man in Germany, he was extremely hospitable (WHY I ask, Darren said he is just being nice) he is really nice!  He talked the whole way - 2 & a half hours later 180 and at times 200 kilometres per hour on the no speed limit auto-band. I thought I was being smart sitting in the back but to my horror the seat belt was broken on my side. (HELP!!!)  At those speeds my life flashed before my eyes. A blow-out at that speed and none of us would be worrying about the kickboxing show tonight.

We arrived at the German Fight Company Rostock in east Germany for the weigh-ins, and Yes the boys were all on weight. Food time. another drive to get one of the best meals we ever had in German, thank you Mrs Wachs…..back in the car another hour and a half drive. Finally we arrived at the hotel close to midnight ....wait for it.... it was closed and the four of us slept in the car ….enough said END !
