He's been suffering with the injury for the last couple of weeks, he had a cut on his knuckle in a work related accident and had just finished a course of anti-biotics for swelling and anti-inflammtory medication. However after his fight in London last weekend his hand started to deteriorate even further and once again became badly swollen.

It wasn't until late last night (well, 1am this morning.) that Billy Muray received a call that he wouldn't be attending boot camp and that he was being kept in for a couple of days for observation. His hand has to be elevated so no hardcore fist pumping to trance Ice Man. Maybe it was too much listening to hardcore dance music, his poor hand couldn't take it.

Is the Ice Man melting? We hope not. We all wish you a speedy recovery.

Darren was visited last night by Mr Murray and when looking for Darren's ward the nurse kindly replied, "Ah yes, Mr McMullan is in the old people Ward." Even though he's fitting in with the 'oldies' he's feeling in good spirits as (in his words) "I'm getting well looked after by the staff up here especially ME MAMMY." Straight from his own lips. Glad to see you're doing better Ice Man. We will keep you all posted on Darren's progress.

**** LATEST just in - Darren has now been allowed to return home to rest from hospital and is well on the mend.
Although he won't be fighting on the card with his team-mates he will still
travel with the squad to Cyprus  ****
