Team mate Ursula Agnew volunteered to stay behind and support Nuala Ward through this traumatic time.
"That's what team mates do for each other. I would like to think Nuala would do the same for me, and it was better that a girl stayed behind it made more sense" said Ursula.

"The ProKick gym have worked non-stop behind the scenes, there is a lot to do when someone has lost a passport in Japan or any country for that matter. Dealing with the Embassy, Travel agent, hotel, Virgin airline and local police. It's wasn't easy, it was a lot of work but we managed to get her back in 24 hours from the first contact with the Embassy. That was great." said a ProKick spokesperson.

One hears so many nightmares aboutt people being stranded for a week and having to pay thousands. It has been expensive but the main thing is they will be home tomorrow (Tuesday)."

Big thanks to the Irish Embassy in Tokyo they were amazing, Knock travel in Belfast, and virgin airlines - Thank goodness for all who helped out at the Embassy, it's good to know that they are in your corner when the chips are stacked against you - Irish eyes are smiling again!.
