A ProKick team of 5 fighters will travel to Malta for the 23rd November event led by title contender, Smith. The 25 year-old, Smith, works by day for Calor Gas as an plant engineer at the ship-yard in Belfast.
Head ProKick coach and former world champion Billy Murray is engineering a plan to help overthrow the Mediterranean star, Zhara.
"This will be a real tough fight for Johnny Smith. Make no mistake, Zhara is a class act. He like to kick a lots and in spectacular fashion. He has a wide variety of kicks, by-way of jumping turning kicks but he is vulnerable at times, so, it's up to us to come up with a plan to capitalise on his mistakes, and I believe Johnny can do it. Two other prokick fighters came close in derailing Zhara. I will do everything I can, to make sure it will be third time lucky for us."
The invitation has come from the WKN (World Kickboxing Network) on behalf of Mr. Noel Mercieca from the Ying Yang Kickboxing group Malta.
The squad of 5 fighters from ProKick will travel across to the beautiful archipelago in the Mediterranean for an event that will future a WKN mixed level event. Fighters, ranging from second and third time fighters through to our more experienced amateur fighters, like Johnny Smith.

i would love to see jonny beat this guy. i watched daniel beat mark bird a few years back in belfast but remember thinking if it had have went another round mark would have won the fight. if jonny can take him into the later rounds he stands a really good chance with those viscious leg kicks. best of luck jonny
