A king of the Tokyo Dome and worshipped by millions of fight fans, the Dutchman appeared at the home of kickboxing in Northern Ireland, the Prokick Gym in Belfast. Hoost, who retired in 2006, made his fourth visit to Belfast.

Last year he commentated on Murray’s KICKmas Box event in the captial. This time around he was in town to teach.

Prokick coach Billy Murray, himself a four-time world champion, said:
"Ernesto gave an exclusive training session with Gary Hamilton and some of my other top fighters and to the lucky students who signed up for his master class. They also got a chance to question him about his career, his lifestyle and how he made it to the top. K1 is a massive fight attraction and he won it four times - there is no-one bigger or better in K1's history than Mr Perfect."

Mr Hoost was also in Galway on Sunday taking a class at Ken Horan's gym.
