Schilt who took no part in the recently concluded, controversial K-1 world grand prix finals makes a return to MMA after a KO victory eleven months ago in Serbia.

This fight may mark a comeback to MMA by Schilt who has seemingly fallen off favour with FEG for his stand up, hitting back with suggestions that K-1 didn’t want him on the stand up circuit, citing his effective yet… un-exciting style.

Already confirmed on the card are Mark Hunt and Jerome La Banner which is likely to see more stand up stars in Japan enter MMA domain and prop up lagging TV ratings for FEG (Fight Entertainment Group), owners of K-1 and DREAM. Further highlighting a possibility that Mark Hunt will indeed re-match Schilt but under MMA rules as suggested in an interview he did earlier this year, with roguemag.com.
