I'm keen to get back in the ring, Said McBlain:
Karl McBlain Fights in Dublin
Karl McBlain was to fight in Dublin (Saturday 27th July). McBlain was offered a fight to face Dubliner Evan Walker in a Full-Contact rules match over 3 rounds. But the fight was cancelled just two hours before the team were due to leave Belfast. The weight was an issue for the fight and match was call off by Walker's team. The East Belfast Whirlwind McBlain, is just back from a four week lay-off due to work and holidaying, Karl agreed to take the fight with just 24 hours notice and is now looking forward to the World Games in Geneva on August.
I'm keen to get back in the ring, Said McBlain: " I'm was not at all prepared for this fight but it was another good opportunity for ring-time, so when these fights come up like this it's about taking them and don't thinking about it to much. I just love to fight, Hopefully Evan and I will meet in the future."
Top of the Bill is an International match
Hermann Nolga France will face Irelands own Aidan Brooks over 5 round K1 style rules
Reports are that the main event match did not happen as there was a weight problem with the French fighter Nolga.
More on this when we confirm.
