Final Day - Just two missing today. Very slow start to boot camp this morning but the finish was quick...sprints.
I said this week that fatigue was setting in, well it was but by the end of the session there were a few surprises Re the sprint times. Well done Stuart on your first run, yes you did shock me with your time - I would have been even happier if you would have been consistent with your other two times, Keep it going though as you and all the rest of our 'Boot Campers' have really excelled.
That's the end to another Boot Camp - so watch this space for the next date. It could be this Monday 29th March.
Next Generation fighters be at the Gym Sunday 28th for 3pm we go live at 4pm on Prokick.com
Day 4 - Boot Camp still a bit subdued, motivators really worked today to encourage the best out of the guys.
4 sprints with some impressive times. Stars of the day were Darren McMullen, Davy Foster and Chris Cullen. The fastest though, but not consistent was Gareth Miller.
Vicki Coulter and Dave Jones must be complimented, for non competitors they are putting some of the guys to shame and they never miss a day or be late. Credit where credit is due.
Maybe tomorrow we'll let the guys sign in and then go straight home, or.... maybe not!
Day 3 - Sprints were back in force as well as hard circuit training. Too many people missing to mention, very disappointing though. Could be fatigue that is setting in. Lets hope Day 4 is a better day.
Day 2 Numbers up a little, not much though. Where are our fighters? Last chance boys and girls no Boot Camp - Then it is the BOOT! Well done to the non competitors.
Today was much the same as yesterday, circuit, floor work and non-stop action. Though reading the comments from our happy campers a few are saying that this camp is easy or not so tough. That can change. Lets see what Day No. 3 brings!
Day 1 of Billy's Boot Camp and the signs are there for everyone to see - The Boot Camps on top of the normal training classes are just becoming too tough for most!
Lets face it, it is not easy! I've always maintained that half would drop out of the Next Generation - either through work, injuries, or pressure on the home front and that the training would take its toll, I hate to say I was right! Well done to the 12 who turned up today and that goes for the other 22 that didn't - thanks for giving it a try!
lets see what tomorrow brings?
Anyone who has signed-up for the event or have been on a previous 'Boot Camps' know what to expect. Dont miss or be late!
Billy's Boot Camp started Monday 22nd to the 26th March 2010 for the first week and then 29th March to the 2nd April.

Wow…come on guys..whats up
Boot Camps are so important for the complete package to make a fighter ready for that bout, particularly for a first timer too.
When I was fighting I Never missed a mornings boot camp as I knew its importance..
Yes life does have a tendancy to get in the way, but we all gotta keep at it, Honestly you will see the difference when you get into the ring..
I know I would never have got the winning hand put into the air by the ref if it was not for the Boot Camp..
Just look at the Brothers Bird, fit, eager and expereinced in the ring,
but they know Boot Camp can be the difference in a win or lose in the ring…
Only 3 weeks to go…
Its racing by now
Keep it going..Best Of Luck..
Keep it Real…Keep it Prokick
