Kickboxing sparring day for Kids
The Prokick Kids got an extra competition day this week – a sparring evening with assistant Junior instructors - Allan Titmus and Ryan Dougal and after the hour-long sparathon was over a few winners emerged – Laura Macartney was chosen as the overall winner the 9 year-old blue belt showed the best all-round technical ability.
Other winners selected by the two young instructors were Courtney Burford aged 9 and Samara Watson aged 8 both young high kickers were the best pair during sparring. And a special winner was Niamh Dougal. The sparring for the kids at ProKick is under the strictest control and light to non-contact.
Beginners right up to junior black belts can all take part in the Saturday morning ‘Wide Awake Club’ for kickboxing mad kids - classes start at 10am for beginners and 11am for the more experienced kicking kids.
