Magee however unsurprisingly disagrees and says that not only will the Interim belt stay with him but this will be just another chance to prove that he still has what it takes to climb to the top of the boxing ladder and become World Champion once more.
Markussen recently stated, "This is my last chance and I will make the most of it, My comeback has gone very well thus far. I have a lot of confidence. I am ready and I am in great shape. I know I have the power to beat him on Saturday night."
Magee responded by saying, "I have great memories of Denmark,” he stated. “I have won here many times as an amateur and also defeated Mads Larsen. I cannot afford any slip-ups. I am prepared to face Markussen. I am in top shape, the best ever, and I am here to defend my title."
The two Super-Middleweight warriors will clash as the top of the bill on the 'Nordic Fight Night' card in Copenhagen, Denmark tomorrow (18th Feruary 2012)
The WBA Interim title fight is the main event however the under card comprises of some promising local Danish talent looking to make their mark on a high profile stage.
