Allister Murphy organised the team in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 51. He also wants to encourage all men in their 40s and over to ask their doctors about a PSA test which can diagnose any problems early when they're much easier to treat.
The team finished the course in 3 hours 55 mins and were 430th out of the 2000 relay teams that entered. Paul ran the first leg of 6 miles. Paul was really pleased with, since none of them are regular runners.
Many many thanks to those who supported and sponsored the team. We've been astounded by the support and generosity. Allister's grand total for the team has passed the £5,000 pound mark.
Thanks again from all of us!
