The Lisburn fighter recently out-pointed much fancied Laith Albalaghi last weekend in London’s famous old Porchester Hall - the ProKick fighter put in an incredible performances. Such was the style of his victory that he silenced the boos and cat-calls of the partisan local crowd.
"I'm delighted," said his coach, veteran kickboxing champ Billy Murray. " Top Corsican promoter Andrelli Tousaint was there and seen Bird fight and right after he won, Andrelli came and offered me a match for Mark on his televised event on the 3rd of May.” Murray added; "There was some talk last month about young Mark travelling to the French Island but now it is all confirmed up. He is a wee star in the making that’s if he keeps his head down and stays focused.”
Corsica Cup 2008 - Loris Blade Audoui (current WKN world champion) will face Brazilian Remi Conceicao (current Corsican Cup champion 2007) - Fighters from Italy, Belgium, Northern Ireland, France will compete in the show.
