It has been a busy time for McBlain and his ProKick team mates as of late as the Belfast fighters have been invited to events in Switzerland, Dublin, Glasgow, Waterford and many more events happening around the globe. McBlain will travel to Glasgow alongside ProKick team mates Paul Best, Gary Fullerton, Darren McMullan and Johnny Smith.

Even though McBlain is an amateur and Lyall is a professional the young Belfast fighter will fight under Pro rules 3x3 min rounds and with no protection  - McBlain will maintain his amateur status as he will receive no purse or fight-fee.

The event run by former World Champion Duncan Airlie James - this is the fourth event in the 'Katana' Series and promises the Glaswegian fight fans a spectacle like the city has never seen before. McBlain and his team mates feel more than ready for whatever their Celtic cousins have to throw at them and are looking forward to fighting on the card.
