News by Mike Miles:

Professional MuayThai Main and Semi-Main Event with a strong undercard of amateur athletes. The Main Event features Calgary's JESSE MILES battling hot off of his participation in the prestigious King's Cup which took place in Bangkok, Thailand on the King's birthday (December 5th, 2010 including Thailand's Yodsenklai, Brazil's Cosmo, England's Watson...). Jesse intends to demonstrate in Calgary why he is recognized worldwide as one of the most impressive Muay Thai athletes and technicians from Canada.

Squaring of against Miles will be Wendy Charly Annonay - French Muay-Thai Champion who sports a professional record of 25 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws. This will a tough fight for both as each is tricky and quick in their tactics. Further, Annonay is a southpaw. This could wreak havoc with Miles battle plans. A tough and exciting fight is guaranteed.

Originally Jesse was scheduled to compete against Artur Kadirkulov from Uzebkistan. Kadirkulov has won the following titles: Champion of the Asian Games 2007, Macao, Prize-winner World championship 2008, Korea, Champion of the cup of the President of Kazakhstan, 2010, Kazakhstan, Prize-winner of the Championship of Asia, 2010, Tashkent. The Uzbekistan Team was turned down on their visa requests with the Canadian Embassy in Moscow, forcing this event RINGMASTERS to be rescheduled to February 4th.

Miles was then scheduled to battle with Bulgaria's Milen Marinov. He too was refused a visa to Canada. It has become increasingly difficult to bring foreign athletes into Canada. This is frustrating and obviously is unfortunate as there are some dynamite athletes from the former Soviet bloc.

The semi-Main Event features Calgary's SANDRA BASTIAN. Calgary's SANDRA BASTIAN moves forward aggressively with her professional career. Standing across the ring facing her will be World Champion HAIFA OUERSIGHNI. This will be a good test for Bastian as Ouersighni is the Champion at 140 lbs. The French girl is used to fighting heavier and physically stronger opponents. The final problem to overcome for the Canadian is the fact Ouersighni is a southpaw. This could have devastating effects on the flow of the fight for Bastian.

The undercard features Calgary's hottest 140 lb. MuayThai athlete HAKEEM DAWODU. This athlete won a Gold Medal in the 2010 IFMA World MuayThai Championships. 2010 was a huge year for Hakeem with him picking up 5 Title Belts and a Gold Medal in 2010!

A strong undercard will be announced in the next few days.
