Boxing fans in Northern Ireland have waited for the return of big time boxing and suddenly three major events arrive on the same night.
Could promoters not at least talked together to spread these events out – even a few weeks apart? What’s going on in the Boxing world here and have the British Boxing Board of Control no say in what goes on in this small part of the world. The overall attendance at all three events is estimated to be around 13,000, paying punters from between £25 and £150 a ticket.
What a shame its the real boxing fans that will miss out.

Its a bit like how the darts world went with differing views and eventually different league and clubs to the point that no discussions ever happened and became a case of them and us scenario..
As mentioned if only they had decided to talk about this to spread out the potential of a super Autumn boxing treat for fan fans, better still this could have been a joint venture which im sure anyone would agree would have drawn the biggest crowds with even bigger media coverage and not to mention the big sponsorships…
Definatly no business heads here…such a shame..
But for me its gotta be Rogan v Sexton….the anticipation of this fight and the past controversial stoppage after last time make this the one to watch i think.
