Northern Ireland and the ProKick Gym have a new amateur kickboxing European champion - the east Belfast man Karl McBlain was ahead on points going into the last round of his championship match in Cyprus on Friday night.
Peter Rusk loses out on points the Newtownards based kickboxer stepped in at last minute to replace injured team mate Darren McMullan.
Karl McBlain wins in 4th round by KO and has become the New WKN European Amateur Champion! -
Johnny Smith loses out on a close decision, unlucky Johnny.
Ursula Agnew also lost out, referee stops fight after tough trade of shots.
