It was a fitting result for the inaugural meeting between the two countries competing under Kickboxing K1 rule style. 3 wins each and 2 draws.

Mr Hoost's right hand man at the HoostGym in Nagoya, Mr Ryusei Doi said:

"We must do this every year, this was great." He aded, " It was very difficult to have a large venue but next year I will make big and better."

He went on to thanks the whole team for all their efforts to come to Japan to help make the meeting for the 'Ernesto Hoost Cup Challenge' match.

The idea for the event came about 9 months ago when Billy Murray ask Mr Hoost about bring his amateur team to compete in Japan and then it just took legs with his help. And a bonus apart from their fights is the ProKick team will spectate at the K1 Grand Prix finals.

Murray was please at the teams results: " We all accomplished a great thing here - first up raising the ton of money to be here and for this first every meeting with Japan. Two counties coming together through peace, friendship and respect to compete in a combat sport. How often does this happen? I can answer that easily, not often enough.

This was an event with real young amateurs from different cultures and backgrounds who had the chance to travel to the home of martial arts and compete. New friends were made here, how great is that."

A big massive thanks to all who help make this event possible

Billy Murray
