The two ProKick fighters were personally invited down by event promoter Chris Boyne to appear on the sold out charity event, with heavyweight Paul Best taking the fight on just 1 day's notice. Paul was meant to be making his competitive debut on ProKick's own June 26th 'New Breed' event but when asked if he would like to appear in Dublin on Friday night, he jumped at the chance. Even asking if he could still fight on Sunday in Belfast! Way to go, Paul!
WKN champ, Ken Horan won't have an easy task as he takes on tough and experienced Shane Lynch from Dublin in their 4 x 2 min round Full-Contact bout. Horan has been in fantastic form as of late with a string of wins under his belt, the most recent of which was when he won another European title in Grimsby, England just a few weeks ago.
Everyone from ProKick wishes both Ken and Paul all the best for the night.
We will be posting live updates and pics from the event on the web so watch this space...
