News and Information for September 2012…
The sport of Kickboxing has been growing massively lately, and not just here in Northern Ireland but all over the world. And as such, the surge of enquiries into the gym here at ProKick on a daily basis has made it increasingly difficult to reply in person to everyone who writes to us. We try our best to reply to all enquiries but due to the sheer volume of mail we receive makes it very difficult to do so immediately. Therefore we have decided to put some of those answers in our new ProKick mail-outs. Thanks so much for everyone who has written, e-mailed or called in so far and we hope that we have answered any and all of your questions.
Starting off with the main subject on everyone’s lip: The Rebuild of the ProKick gym and of course, beginner’s classes and how can I get fit quick.
Rebuild the Old ProKick Gym
Further talks were held just last week with and at Dundela football club about the Re-development for the long-awaited rebuild of Prokick. Here was the first teaser from over a month ago.

Up-coming Events with ProKick fighters
On the competitive side, ProKick's team have had a busy month and September is looking to be just as busy if not busier. The team have been invited to compete at shows all over Ireland, England, Scotland and there are other events coming up in Switzerland, Malta, France and Japan. List of events.
This Saturday the team are off to compete in Glasgow at Katana 6: 'REBELLION'. And our very own Gary Hamilton will be making his ring comeback. Gary hasn’t been as active within the sport over the last few years due to work, personal and family issues but he’s stepping into the Katana event as a sudden re-explosion back into the deep end of the sport. He has been training hard recently and is looking to reclaim his championship crown. And teammate Alex Ciocoi will also climb between the ropes for his 3rd competitive match. Don't forget to log on to ProKick.com and leave us your comments and wish the guys luck.
The Prokick team are also gearing up for a trip to Switzerland in October. Gary Hamilton, Johnny Smith, Karl McBlain and Darren McMullan have been requested by Mr Carl Emery to take part in an event for The Peace Fighters. The Peace Fighters is a not-for-profit charitable organisation set up by Billy Murray and Carl Emery to help disadvantaged or underprivileged children in Europe and beyond.
We also have a Malta trip coming up - N’Ireland vs Malta. Click this link for information about the Malta event.
There's also a trip coming up to the home of K-1: Japan. Gary Hamilton has been asked by Mr K-1 for, possibly, a coming up match to compete on Ernesto Hoost’s ‘Mr Perfect’ K1 event.

Continuing on the fitness note, that's right, you guessed it! Billy's Boot Camp is back every saturday!
