All ProKick instructors must pass a series of rigorous tests and exams overseen by none other than ProKick head coach and kickboxing legend Billy Murray. Mr Murray kows more than most what it feels like to be on the top of the kickboxing ladder and expects nothing short of excellence form his instructors before he approves them to teach.The six-week courses will be starting soon in several area of the country including Belfast (Falls and Shankhill areas), Lisburn, Carrickfergus, Bangor, Ballynahinch and Newtownards and Murray firmly believes that he can unearth more fresh kickboxing talent in the country.
He said: “There are so many different levels of satisfaction to be gained from kickboxing, from getting fit, improving self-esteem or going all the way into the ring. For most of my competitors, it was never their intention to become a fighter but they enjoyed the sport so much they had to give it a try and loved it."
