Former world champion and Darren's coach Billy Murray said today:
"We tried to have the fight back in Belfast, we offered three different dates. and none of them suited the German team. I really don't care where Darren will fight to get a chance to win back his title. I'm just so happy for Darren that he has the chance to right a wrong."

Hi
What a terrific opportunity for Alec to become World Champion, it’s a big ask to go to Germany at short notice and take on the reigning World Champion on his home territory but if anyone can do it I’m sure Alec with Team Pro Kick supporting him can.
Darren has been waiting for his chance to regain his European Title from David Wach and set the record right from their last encounter, this weekend in Germany is a big night for Team Pro Kick, A World Title and a European Title is up for grabs and once again the Pro Kick Gym is meeting the challenge head on.
Wishing Alec and Darren and all at Team Pro Kick best wishes and good luck this weekend in Germany . Regards.
