Their coach, the former world champ Billy Murray, said: “Karl and Johnny are real talents in kickboxing and will reach the top together, no doubt. They seem to enjoy challenging one another and that creates a competitive atmosphere in the gym.

“In a short space of time, they have both fought in Japan, Switzerland, Ireland, France and England.” He added: “These two are serious contenders for more than domestic titles by the end of the year - saying that - I expect them to do well on the Awards Night bill.

“They face tough opponents next week, the team from Malta are very well trained and they will be coming to Belfast looking to walk away with the win.”

Karl and Johnny will be joined by Prokick fighters Darren McMullan, Paul Best and Gary Fullerton on the January 28th Awards Night event. ProKick has been open for 20 years this year and will celebrate the fact with these 5 fights adding to the glamour of the celebrations.

Limited tickets remain and are priced at £20 and £40, the latter coming along with pre-event buffet and fast entry to the event itself along with ringside seat, both tickets of course include an invitation to the post-fight party.
