Leaders from the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) are working to resolve conflicts over the name change during their annual Executive Board meeting February 12-13, 2009.

As to this matter, why do people (in my opinion) feel the need to try and fix something thats not broken….
obviously im not aware of all the details and complictions, but changing a name of a sport is sensless…
Imagine if they tried to interfere with football and changed it to (kickyball) or something…
ours not to reason why blah blah blah
look forward to reading about this in more depth, no doubt there may be issues which we are unaware of however i think its wrong for anyone to interfere in such a matter..
Am i wrong…who knows…
