"It's been a nightmare for all of us here at ProKick to raise the type of monies need to travel and compete in Japan". Said senior coach Billy Murray.
"We have done everything from car boot sales to walking mountains, bag packing, disco's, you name it we have tried it.
I'm so please that someone from the PSNI have witnessed or heard about the teams endeavours to raise the money for the trip.
We are a totally mixed community team made up with members from all walks of the religious divide from all over Northern Ireland. Unfortunately we receive no funding or help from any government body when we compete or travel abroad, all our trips are financed with our own endeavours.
A big thanks to the PSNI from Strandtown it means a lot that we as a community and sports group can count on our local Bobbies."
