The Irish heavyweight fighter has trading verbal blows with Commonwealth champion, Fury ever since he turned down the chance the fight the Manchester born
champion back in September.
Now the Belfast cabbie and boxer says that he will put his career on the line and if Fury defeats him, he will hang up his gloves for good.
Rogan has been searching for a viable big named opponent ever since the BBBC refused to sanction his challenge for the WBU heavyweight title and now that he hasbeen forced to pull out of a return grudge match with England's Matt Skelton because of a foot injury, he states that next year will be his last attempt to attain World Glory and that Fury is a stepping stoneto doing just that.
Rogan commented recently, “Why doesn’t Tyson Fury come over here at the beginning of the year
and fight me at the Odyssey Arena. I am the best heavyweight in Ireland,
so let us fight for the Irish, British and Commonwealth titles in
Belfast,“ “I am up for that and if he beats me I will retire and they can take
all the praise. If they believe he can fight the Klitschko brothers, he
should be able to walk through me. I want the fight and it is a contest
the fans would love to see. So let’s do it,”
